  19.      All functions of Classified Ads have been programmed and should be
  20. fully functioning.  Please check out all functions thoroughly.  If you
  21. want the WC or PCB color bulletins, please take the time to check out
  22. the ANSI/ASCii capabilities.  I don't like to release faulty software
  23. CFG file instructions:
  24.  
  25.  1.  Path to BBS User file
  26.  2.  BBS name
  27.  3.  SysOp's first name.
  28.  4.  SysOp's last name.
  29.  5.  Serial Number
  30.  6.  Number of days for listings to remain active. {set to 3-5 for beta}
  31.  7.  Minimum Sec. Level to access door
  32.  8.  Path and name of Color bulletin
  33.  9.  Path and name of ASCii bulletin
  34. 10.  Type of Bulletins (WC = Wildcat!3.x  PCB = PCBoard  N = ANSI/ASCii)
  35.      If you select the WC! or PCB type bulletins, you will only need to
  36.      supply a filname and path for the color bulletin.  You still must
  37.      include line 8.  You may leave it blank though.
  38. 11.  (Y/N)  Create the above bulletins.  This option ONLY works for
  39.      registered versions.  The bulletins are automatically created in
  40.      the DEMO versions.  They cannot be switched off.
  41. 12.  Path to ACTIVITY.LOG.
  42. 13.  If you select the option to have ClassAd write bulletins to a
  43.      separate directory, enter the directory path here. (Read DOCs for
  44.      further details.) See SPECIAL DIRECTORY INSTRUCTIONS below.
  45. 14.  (Y/N) Create the bulletins in the special directory.  This option
  46.      ONLY works for the registered version.  These bulletins are NOT
  47.      created in the DEMO version.  They can not be switched on.
  48. 15.  (Y/N) Create the ASCii text file.  This file is automatically
  49.      created in the DEMO version.  It cannot be switched off.
  50. 16.  Path and name of the ASCii text file.

  52. All 16 lines must be present in the CFG file.  The lines that are not
  53. needed or used, may be blank but, they must be there.

  56. SPECIAL DIRECTORY INSTRUCTIONS:

  58.      This part is only available at the present time to WC!3.x systems.
  59. If, in the future, I can get some idea as to how to implement this on
  60. different systems, I will make it available.

  63. 13.  If you select the option to have ClassAd write bulletins to a

  67. To set this function up, you must enter your "Conference Definition"
  68. setup in MAKEWILD.  Create a message conference entitled "Classified
  69. Ads" or whatever title suits your fancy.  Give this conference its own
  70. Bulletin Directory path.  ADDOR.EXE will create the necessary
  71. BULLETIN.BBS and a bulletin for each record listed in the database.
  72. There is no special maintenance that the sysop needs do in this area.
  73. If a record is deleted in the database, ADDOR.EXE will delete the proper
  74. BULLx.BBS.

  76. You will need to set the # of bulletins allowed in this area to the
  77. maximum number of bulletins that you expect.  ADDOR.EXE will allow up to
  78. 500 in the database.  WC! allows 999 in each bulletin conference.

  130.       passed to your Door would be:

  132.       The /5 tells DoorFrame to use IRQ5 rather than the standard IRQ4 that
  133.       is normally used with COM1. No /x parameter is needed for the standard
  134.       IRQ's.

  136. Fossil Driver Support
  137. ---------------------
  138. DoorFrame supports the use of Fossil drivers.  To tell your Door to use the
  139. Fossil driver instead of the standard COM ports, just put /FD on the command
  140. line when running the door. For example:

  142.      MYDOOR MYDOOR.CFG /FD
  143.      MYDOOR MYDOOR.CFG *FD
  144.  
  145. indicates that a Fossil driver is present and should be used. If no Fossil
  146. driver is detected, DoorFrame will print a message to that effect and exit
  147. the door gracefully.

  150. Environment Variables
  151. ---------------------
  152. DoorFrame supports COM 1-4 on the standard IRQ's - COM1/COM3 = IRQ4 and
  153. COM2/COM4 = IRQ3. If you wish to use a non-standard IRQ, add the IRQ
  154. number after the configuration filename. Let's assume your Door is
  155. called FOOBAR and you want to use COM1 and IRQ5. The command line
  156. passed to your Door would be:
  157.     FOOBAR FOOBAR.CFG /5  or
  158.     FOOBAR FOOBAR.CFG /%IRQ%  for the environment variable.
  159. The /5 tells DoorFrame to use IRQ5 rather than the standard IRQ4 that
  160. is normally used with COM1. No /x parameter is needed for the standard IRQ's.

  162. When specifying the location of the system file on line 1 of the doors .CFG
  163. file, you may use the environment variables %pcbdrive%, %pcbdir%, %pcbnode%,
  164. and %wcnodeid%. Some examples:

  166.    USERS.SYS in C:\PCB           - %pcbdrive%%pcbdir%\USERS.SYS
  167.    USERS.SYS in C:\PCB\NODE1     - %pcbdrive%%pcbdir%\NODE%pcbnode%\USERS.SYS

  172. Non-PCBoard systems may use the PCB environment variables by setting them
  173. in either AUTOEXEC.BAT or in the batch that runs the door. For example:

  179. Classified Ads will support the following user files on Line 1 of the
  180. CFG file.
